Bonjour!
In case you didn't know, I have a sweet tooth, so I've decided to find an excuse to eat some biscuits.
I found the perfect one (excuse), share a recipe with you!
Let's make together a really simple one, with only 3 ingredients, the shortbread biscuit!

Ingredients
150g plain flour, plus extra for dusting.
100g butter, chilled and cubed.
50g caster sugar, plus 1 tbsp for sprinkling.

Method
Put the flour, butter and sugar into a bowl.
Mix them together by hand until you get crumbles, then press it together to form a dough
On a floured surface, use a rolling pin to roll out the dough to ½ cm thick.
Cut the dough into fingers and place on a lined baking tray.
Sprinkle them with the remaining caster sugar.
Chill them in the fridge for 20 minutes.
Bake them for 15-20 mins until golden brown in a preheated oven at 170°C/150°C with fan.
Voilà!
